The Lost Scraps Of Love - Nipun Ranjan

Just finished "The Lost Scraps Of Love - Nipun Ranjan", and now I am writing about the book. Before I talk about the book, First of all I tell something about the author. The Author of this book Nipun Ranjan is graduated in engineering this year from Jadavpur University. He wrote this book when he was in 2nd year of engineering course but the book is published when he was on verge of finishing his engineering. In past two year, there are so many fiction published which contains the same test. Same college boy, same girl from another college for whom he fall in love. What different with this book?

The protagonist of this story, Rahul is a small town boy (Ranchi) who joins JU (Kolkata) for his engineering where he found a very sweet and charming girl Sonia. They fall in love and decided to live their whole life together but some confusion take place between them. And it leads to break up b/w them. Rahul try to kill himself to prove her love is true but helped by his friend and he survived. He did stupid things to make believe Sonia that how much he really loves her. Finally he wrote a book and published it after reading which she came back to her life.

The story is good and the author has put his heart in it while he was writing the story. What the book additionally need a good cover page, the cover design of book is not so attractive, so it’s barely attract people. The title of book “The Lost Scraps Of Love  … that I found again “suitably represent the story.
Hope people like the story.A very light read.

Good luk Nipun Ranjan for your book.

HappY Reading
:)

@Anurag About Johnny Gone Down I can say you this is one of the best novel I ever read, just go through it and I feel that you will love reading it...and one thing is that their is always a little bit similarity b/w different books and we can neglect it while reading...
Karan bajaj rocked this time....

And I am thinking of reading Run Romi Run by Tushar Raheja, The Author of Anything for You Mam. This time it's not a love story but it's a book about cricket...I have Never read such a book..Let see how it is..

And by The way do you have read She broke Up I didn't - Durjoy Datta...

You have done a nice review.

By the way your blog said that comments are the lifeline to your blog.

I wanted to promote something else for the common good of bloggers, visit the profile of those who have commented and read their blogs, then bloggers wouldn't run short of audience.

From thematic point of view it's a cliche. From editing point of view score 2 out of ten and from proof reading point of view not that attractive. Too many use of informal lingual terms used by young adult in colleges. Exactly it is a predictable story and in the market there is a glut. I have taken vow not to pick such book hence forward. Better to read Dickens, Larry collins, R. K Narayan.

The book sorry to say has got no merit from literary point of view.

I am amazed how the editor of Shristi publication did not notice all the grammatical flaws in the manuscript. I think the writer should have devoted one more session of editing and proof reading than submitting this to the publication house.

I am sure it is Shristi that accepted others would have rejected the manuscript. Shristi only wanted to establish in the market. The book i think is a blot on Indian Indian English literature.

Great Expectation, The Guide, City Of Joy really marvel of English literature from all corners.
